Welcome to Raleigh!
Once you’ve registered to attend, you’re going to need a hotel room! IBMA and the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau have established a great group of host hotels in a variety of price ranges and amenities. See the list below to review your options and make your hotel reservations. Info on parking, driving and camping also included.
The two host hotels (Raleigh Marriott City Center and Sheraton Raleigh Hotel) are connected to the main IBMA event venues (Raleigh Convention Center, Red Hat Amphitheater, City Plaza, and Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.) To make hotel reservations, you must first reserve tickets to some portion of World of Bluegrass: the Business Conference, Awards Show, and/or Wide Open Bluegrass Main Stage.
Other overflow hotels are in easy proximity to where all the IBMA action will be!

There are several parking lots and garages around The Raleigh Convention Center and Red Hat Amphitheater. Dependent on where you park, attendees should expect to pay a daily parking fee of $5.00 to $15.00 per day. Details on locations of lots and prices will be posted as they are known. Download Parking Map here.
Fully equipped camp sites are available at the NC State Fairgrounds which is approximately 5 miles from downtown and the main event campus (Raleigh Convention Center, Red Hat Amphitheater, etc). Drive time is an estimated 10-20 minutes depending upon time of day. Currently, 50 sites are reserved as a block for IBMA attendees.
Cost is $25 per night and includes full hook ups. To Reserve: Contact Claudine Davis/ NC State Fairgrounds at 919.733.5709 ext. 4501 or email her at Claudine@ncagr.gov.
More sites will be added as needed and based upon availability. At this time, there is NOT as shuttle being provided from/to this location from the main event campus so campers will need to provide or work out their own transportation to and from. Note: it is an NCSU home football weekend and this location is near the stadium, reserving early is suggested!
